About Amboseli
Amboseli is an excellent location for viewing Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. It is surrounded by a cumulus rim. Kilimanjaro’s wedding cake peaks float magically in the incredible blue of the African sky, while elephant herds graze below provides an appropriate backdrop for this wild region. Amboseli is also the home of the pastoralist tribe, the Maasai people. Why visit Amboseli national park? The park is well-known for being an ideal destination to get up close with free-roaming elephants. The national park is where your dreams of wildlife safaris meet reality. The park’s size does not restrict the number of attractions available, making it Kenya’s second most popular park after the Masai Mara national reserve. It consists of 5 habitats that provide fertile ground for the park’s various attractions. namely: Swamps, marshlands, open plains, the yellow-barked acacia woodlands, and lava-strewn rocky thorn bush.
